Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a modality not often covered by insurance; however, it is exploratory and extremely effective where other conventional and theoretical approaches are not. Hypnosis is an altered state of awareness with numerous beneficial characteristics. Hypnosis uses guided relaxation, extreme concentration, and intense attention to achieve a heightened state of consciousness or mindfulness to place an individual into a “trance” like or altered state of awareness. Your mind is a powerful tool that is capable of self-healing and alleviating debilitating psychological distress, phobias, anxiety, disease, and illness, getting to the core of sub-conscious driven patterns of thoughts and behavior.

Hypnotherapy is also effective for surgical preparation and recovery, smoking cessation, weight loss, and insomnia.
